Grizzly Creek Ranch serves a wide variety of schools and groups. During the regular school year, the camp is available Monday through Friday. In the summer, activities and programs are offered to a diverse range of special-needs populations. We also offer resident summer programs, day camp and backcountry leadership programs during the summer season. These programs mainly are for youth in mainstream education.

Like the rest of Grizzly Creek Ranch, our pool, the challenge course and our other facilities are designed to accomodate kids and adults with special needs.

Whether in the pool or at the archery range, on the challenge course or basketball court, camper safety and fun are top priorities.

For anyone, regardless of age or abilities, new experiences build self-esteem, and enhance social skills and problem solving abilities. All activities at Grizzly Creek Ranch are designed to help campers reach their fullest potential. Our program staff can help you develop a custom program suited to the needs of your campers.

Many groups that come to Grizzly Creek Ranch use time during their stay for education. For children who live with health-related challenges or disabilities every day, camp provides an opportunity to learn more about their illness and develop practical skills of self-care in a supportive atmosphere.

Being away from home with kids like themselves promotes social interaction, fosters a sense of independence and helps develop an "I can do it" attitude.

Families and caregivers benefit from the experience as a respite from the everyday care of their son, daughter, brother or sister.

Camp offers a great place to learn and practice new skills while living with other youngsters under the supervision of skilled, sensitive and professional counselors.
